Ram Lakhan (1989)

Subhash Ghai’s Ram lakhan marks as one of Anil Kapoor’s best performances. It is an action musical drama film. Rakhee Gulzar and Jackie Shroff also played a central role in the film. The plot of the film revolves around the story of two brothers who go their separate ways due to their ideological differences, but how they save each other as the story unfolds. Ram lakhan received a lot of love from the public.

The Murder of My Wife (2005)

Anil Kapoor, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Nandana Sen played the main characters of Jiji Philip. The murder of my wife. The film is a mystery thriller. The plot of the film revolves around a husband, who accidentally hits his wife, resulting in her death. Things get complicated when a tough cop suspects him of murder and the latter does his best to evade the law. The film marks Anil Kapoor’s debut in this genre.

Slumdog Millionaire (2008)

Anil Kapoor was part of the co-directing of Danny Boyle and Loveleen Tandan Slumdog Millionaire. It’s a romantic drama film. Dev Patel and Freida Pinto also play a central role in the film. The plot of the film revolves around a teenager from Mumbai, who reflects on his life after being accused of cheating on the Indian version of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”. It is a romantic comedy drama film. The plot of the film revolves around the Mehra family, who must reflect on their lifestyle and love life on a cruise celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary. The film did very well at the box office.
